DAYLIGHT SAVING.
A VICTORIAN PROPOSAL. 'By Telegraph.—Preas Association.—Copyright. (Received December 21, 10 p.m.) Melbourne, December 21. The report of the Legislative Assembly Committee on Daylight Saving, recommends that clocks be advanced an hour on October 1 and put back an hour on March 1. The Governor is recommended to ask New South Wales and South Australia to introduce similar legislation, but if these States refuse, the committee considers that Victoria should act independently.
