Lords' amendments to the Housing and Town Planning Bill, but secured the rejection of some he regarded as destructive, . including the changes made in procedure in cases where it was intended to compulsorily purchase land. " ' ;
Another amendment was disagreed with a3 a breach of privilege on the Speaker's ruling, as calculated to alter the incidence of the rates.
