FRANKLIN ASSOCIATION.

The annual meeting; of the Franklin Cricket Association was held at Tuakau on Thursday. The officers for tho ensuing year wore elected as follows: —Patron, Mr. W. F. Massey, M.P.; president, Mr. Wm. Smeed; vice-presidents, Messrs. A. Madill, Geo. Brown, A. B. Barter-, Wm. Howard, J. Grant, J. Harris, and W- H. P. Evans; hon. secretary and treasurer, Mr. C. Miller.
