CITY CLUB'S WITHDRAWAL.
The members of the City District Cricket Club held a meeting on Saturday, when the following resolution was adopted:— owing to the City District Club being unable to put a senior team in the field, the Auckland Cricket Association be asked to rearrange the boundaries of the. surrounding districts." .

John Court v. Tally Clerks' Wfiarf team: —Wharf team, 136 (Quintall 39, McLeod 24, Cofctiogham. 23, McCormack 20). Court's, 76 for eight wickets (Blackie 27, Winnall 19, Hill 11). Quintall took four wickets for four rune, performing the hat trick. . Horspool Brothers v. Hebald : Herald, 70 (Saunders 35, Sinlin 11). Horspool Brothers, 128 (E. retired 42, A.U. retired 43, T. 12). . ' • : NORTHCOTE CLUB. /. ;. The annual meeting of tho Northcote Cricket Club was held in Tarry's Hall, Northcote, on Friday night. There was a good muster of cricketers. The annual report and balance-sheet, which were read by tho secretary, showed the club to have had a very successful season, and reported it to be in a good financial position. The club formally decided to disband, and to amalgamate with Birkenhead and Mayfield districts, to form one club, under the title of the Waitemata Cricket Club. The ,Waitemata district has just been admitted to the association as a separate district, their senior team to play in the second grade. This will no doubt greatly stimulate cricket in these districts- - - ; MOUNT ALBERT CLUB.'
The Mount Albert Cricket Club held their annual concert in the Methodist ? school. : Items were contributed by the Mount Albert orchestra (under the baton of Mr. Lester), Misses S. Phillipps, L. Gardner, N. Casely, L. Stokoe, Webb, R. Hamilton, Messrs. Buscombc, O. Pritchard, H. F. King, F. Brinsden, and Master R- Casely.' The Misses Binstead and Levy , acted as accompanists. During tho evening a presentation of a set of carvers was made to Miss Binstead by the president, Mr. T. Knight, on behalf of the club. The club's trophies were also presented. Mrs. •'.-'A- Nesbitt's bat was won by R. Hay den, and Mr. Ford's medal for the best bowling average by B. Fail. :;>';■ .
