FROZEN MEAT INDUSTRY.
, THE WANGANUI COMPANY. • [BY TELEGBAPH.— association.] ' Wanganui, Wednesday. . The eighteenth annual meeting of the Wanganui Freezing Company was held today. The balance-sheet showed a, credit of £5413, and a dividend of six per cent, was declared. The chairman, in moving the adoption of the report, referred to the drop in prices of wool, and said that New Zealand's income from that product was only-half as much as last year. The company has decided to increase the capacity of the works, and a contract has been let for an addition to the engineroom, i A new machine capable of. freezing 2000 sheep per day has been ordered, and will be ready for, the coming season.
