DEATH OF CAPTAIN WORSP.
An* old identity in the person of Captain Wor«p, formerly in the service of the Union Steam Ship Company, and' prior to that with Messrs. Henderson and Macfarlime, died at Devonport yesterday after a short illness. Deceased was well-known in maritime circles and was probably one of the oldest skippers on the New Zealand coast. Captain Worsp retired a. number of years ago. and took up large holdings in the Taupiri and Glen Murray districts. He was a director of the Auckland Farmers' Freezing Company, and though sometime living a retired life had always taken it very active interest in farming matters. He leaves five daughters and two eons. Deceased was over 70 years of age.
