LICENSING PROSECUTION.
[by telegraph.—press association.] Wellington, Monday. Alexander Smith, licensee of Cricketers' Arms Hotel, was this morning fined £10 on each of two charges of haying. sold liquor to an intoxicated person, and of permitting drunkenness on his premises. The .defendant also had his license endorsed.
