POINT CHEVALIER. Mitch interest was displayed in Hip Point Chev.i Her Road Hoard election on Wednesday. five members were required and nine candidates were nominated. Mr. Bewen withdrew, iii« noiriination, leaving: eight to go to the poll. The election resulted in. the return of all the old members, tin- voting beiuff as follows—Thomas Diguau 47. Peter Collins 52, J. Simkins 23, Samuel McVilHams 20, .T. Iloskeiis 19, T. Wremmll 16, F. Fair-. weather 15, ('. Courtenay 14. Mr. 11. T. HcElroy, returning; officer, declared the first live candidates elected. KIKIKIIUROA. _ The poll token for the election of the Kirikrri' ion Road Hoard resulted in the return of Me*tfrti N. F.
