Dakgavjllk, Tuesday. A.v extraordinary general meeting of the VVairoa Steamship Company, Limited, was held here to-day. The following resolution was carried by an overwhelming majority: —'"That the business of the company and the whole of its properly and assets, be* sold and disposed of to a company to be incorporated under the name, of the Kaipara Steamship Company, Limited, upon the terms of an agreement already prepared and expressed to be made between the Northern Union Steamboat Company, Limited, of the one part, and this company of the other part." The directors were also authorised to carry out the agreement and to make such provision as they think proper to modify its details.
