MINISTERS MOVEMENTS.
MESSRS. McGOWAN AND .MILLAR
VISITING AUCKLAND.
Tub lion. Jus. MeGowaii. Minister for Mines and Justice, will arrive in Auckland from the South this morning.
The Hon. J. A. Millar, Minister for Labour and Marine, is also due to arrive this morning. Ho proceeds to Wiiikino and Waihi to-morrow. Ho will visit- the Thames on his return journey to Auckland, and next week he will proceed to the Kaipara district. The. extended river limits, the proposed new regulations in regard to scows and workmen's homes, arc amongst. the matters that will occupy the. Minister's attention during his stay in the district. The Premier has intimated that he lias been recalled to Wellington on pressing business, and that he will be unable to fulfil his original intention of proceeding to Gifi-. borne after his speech at Napier.

The Premier left Wanganui for Napier this morning, and is expected back in Wellington to-morrow night.
The Hon. G. Fowkls returned this evening, after a fortnight's absence in Auckland.
