ENTERTAINMENTS.
RICHARDS' VAUDEVILLE COMPANY. There; was a large attendance at His Maards' Vaudeville Company's entertainment aril's -Vaudeville Company' 6; entertainment was presented. for the second time. , The whole, programme was again followed with great interest, and the artists received, in the majority of "cases, well-deserved applause.-. The outstanding . feature of the performance was undoubtedly. the. turn by Brinn, .whose marvellous juggling 'feats with massive weights, which lie first balanced on his chin; and in several instances knocked the support away, allowing the weight to fall on his back, in a sensational ..manner, were received with prolonged applause. His concluding item, that.of balancing a guncarriage on his head, ' brought forth demonstrations of applause.'-The turn of Seymour and Dupre, as a Chinese servant, and the lady of the house respectively, was a clever item, and showed these artists to be possessed of undoubted ability. The singing of Baby Watson was admired, and Little Cliff was highly successful in his comic songs, unique dancing,; and original impersonations. Miss Nita Leete appeared in' illustrated songs, and Mr. Fred Bluett created'fun in' his turn. . Miss Nelly Kilburne also appeared with success. Animated pictures were also shown. A matinee performance will be given this afternoon, commencing at half-past two, and tho company will appear- again this. evening. ■ ~". ._ ",. , ; I
