EDDON MEMORIAL.
[l)T TELEGRAM-.— ASSOCIATION.] Hastings, Tuesday. A PROPOSAL to erect a cottage hospital at Hastings as a Seddon memorial has been abandoned, owing to insufficient means' of maintenance. A large amount of money was promised on condition that the hospital is erected, and as this is an impossibility a meeting of subscribers held last night decided to return all subscriptions paid, and not to further entertain the proposal at present.
