ARBITRATION COURT.

A DISPUTE SETTLED

Dunedin, Tuesday. Acting on the advice of the president of the Arbitration Court, the Plumbers and Gasfittere' Union and the master plumbers met in conference to-day, and agreed to a settlement of matters in dispute. Judge Chapman, in congratulating the parties on the result of the conference, said he had always found that when parties agreed in this way after' discussion the awards were more faith fully observed than when they were forced on them.

The tramways dispute will be taken on; Monday, and will probably last several days. '
