Christchcrch, Monday. At the Police Court to-day a resident was fined 1 5s and costs for presenting to a tram guard a discount tramway ticket, he not being the original purchaser, from whom it was not transferable. The coupon was obtained in a car from the original purchaser in ignorance of the conditions. The case was brought because the habit of transferring coupons is growing.
