CHARGE OF MURDER.
[BT TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] - New Plymouth, Tuesday. At the'Eltham - S.M. Court to-day,' Carl Schicker was • committed to the Supreme Court at New Plymouth, on a charge of the murder of John Rollen, at Kaponga., on June 30. The parties were Swiss milkers. It is alleged that during a quarrel over a girl accused struck Rollen on trie head with an axe handle, the blow proving fatal.
