THE BATTLESHIP MONTAGU.
FAST ON THE ROCKS. SEVERAL OF CREW INJURED. By Telegraph —Press Association Copyright. London, May 31. The battleship Montagu, now ashore on Shutter Point, Lundy Island, struck heavily, and lies across a ledge of rock. Her hull is pierced in several places. , In the shock of 'the impact some of the crew sustained broken arms and other injuries. The vessel struck on the point where, in Kirigsley's " Westward Ho," the wreck of the Santa Catharina, of the Spanish Armada, is placed, viz.. Shutter's Rock.
