Her hull is pierced in several places. , In the shock of 'the impact some of the crew sustained broken arms and other injuries. The vessel struck on the point where, in Kirigsley's " Westward Ho," the wreck of the Santa Catharina, of the Spanish Armada, is placed, viz.. Shutter's Rock.
