THE DEVONPORT POST OFFICE

.'■■\': Wellington, Monday. Tin.; question as to the site of the proposed new post office and telephone bureau at Devonport was brought before the lost-master-General by Mr. Alison this afternoon. Sir Joseph Ward referred to the objections which had been raised against the building being erected on the corner of the triangle, reserve on which the Borough Council chambers now stand, and stated that the whole question was under consideration. He was, he said, awaiting a report from the Departmental officers before coming to a decision.
