A MAN'S THIGH FRACTURED.

Napier, Monday. AN accident occurred on boardL'the M. Wanaka late on Saturday, when she. b ing berthed at the Glasgow Wharf. The mooring chain, which, had been made ft to the wharf, parted, one of the ds^ i„g the boatswain, Alexander Brock on the legs. He was taken to the hospital, where it was discovered that one of his thighs was framed, the shin of the other leg; tong badly braised. He is progressing favoui ably/ '.
