It has destroyed several bridges and flooded tho buildings along the river frontages at Pittsburg, where 25,000 men have been thrown idle owing to the plants of tho steel mills being under water.
Tho railway tracks m Pennsylvania are flooded, and tho passengers have been rescued in skiffs.
