Ix the Supreme Court, before Judge Ed-wards,-an action opened this morning in which Mere ftoihe proceeds against the Assets Company, praying that the certificate of title of a certain block of land Known 83 VYc-ingaroaia, issued in 1877, be cancelled, and a fresh one issued to the native owners, and that the defendant company be declared the trustee and ordered to account to plaintiff. Mr. Keen and Mr. Busk appear for the plaintiffs, and Mr. Delatour and Mr. Bell for the defendants. Mr. Bell applied for a postponement of the trial until all t.ie natives interested have beeti joined as plaintiff's. After argument the judge reserved the point end is hearing evidence.
