[BY TELEGRAPH.— PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Dxtnedin, Thursday. At the Wesleyan District Synod a petition against the sale of liquor in the King Country was signed by the president and secretary for the Synod. It was resolved to recommend the conference to urge the Government to take steps to stop the scandalous sly grog sales in the King Country.
