Sydney, March 15. At the League of Wheelmen's Carnival yesterday the attendance numbered 14,000. The weather was dull, and several spills

occurred during the day, Pearson sustaining a slight concussion of the brain, and Mclnnes being badly bruised. The principal results are

International Scratch Mile: Megson, N.S.W., 1; Martin, America,'2; Lewis and Payne, a dead heat, ". Oil entering the homestretch the American was leading, but Megson came with a desperate spruit, and won by two lengths. Timo, 2m. 275.

Australian Cup, two miles: S. P. Johnson, N.S.W., IGOyds, 1; W. W. Haskins, N.S.W., 120 yds, 2; (Chapman, 120 yds, 3. Won by 10 yards. Pither, Mow Zealand, and Payne, New South Wales, who were both on the 15 yards mark in the second heat, had a great set-to, Pither winning by half a wheel, but he was out-handicapped in the final.

First-class Handicap : Martin, 1; Parsons, 2; Megson, 3. Parsons led into the straight but the American won on the post after a wonderful sprint. Pither and Boyd, of New Zealand, also startod. Time, 4m. 33k Class Scratch Race: Haskins, i; Phelan, 2; Williams, 3. Won by half a wheel. Time, 2m. 32a. Six heats ot the Federal Stakes were contested. In the third heat Parsons and Megson, both on scratch, had to be content with third and fourth places respectively, beitie beaten by the 40yds men. Pither was second in his heat, which Martin won.
