Syd.vey, March 14. Turner has settled his business, and will be able to sail with the rest of the team.

Later. A further difficulty lias arisen in connection with the Australian Team. After wiring to Musgrove that lie would lie able to join the rest of the team sailing by the Ciizco, Turner discovered ho could not complete his business in time, and wired Musgrove to this effect, and expressing regret that the arrangement previously made for him to sail by the Austral atortnight later could not be carried out, and withdrawing from the team. Musgrove replied that he could arrange to let Turner go by the Austral, and asking if lie could go. So far Turner lias not replied. In the course of an interview Turner stated that he meant to abide by his former decision. He is annoyed at the terms and the wavering action of the manager, and says he talked the matter over with Musgrove on Wednesday, when a tacit understanding was arrived at that if he could not go by the Cuzco he should catch the Austral. Turner's ticket is taken for the latter vessel.

The feeling in cricketing circles is that Turner will probably consent to go wi'.h the team.

Melbourne, March 14. Harry's solicitor sent a letter to Musgrove formally claiming to bo a duly elected member of the team, and entitled to proceed to England and share the proceeds of the tour, but offering without prejudice to accept £150 in full satisfaction of his claim. The team meet to day to consider the letter, In all probability Harry will be paid the amount asked. Trott and Harry were entertained at a luncheon by the East Melbourne Club. Harry said he was keenly disappointed at being ousted, and considered he had been very unfairly treated. However, the team was a really good one, aud he wished it every success.

March 15. At a meeting of the Executive of the Team on Saturday night, a wire was sent to Turner asking if it were possible for him to catch the Austral, and a wire was also despatched to Howell, asking him to join the Austral if Turner refused to go. The Executive considered Harry's claim, and decided to pay him £150, and added a bonus of £10. Ircdale, Donuan,Gregory, Graham, Trumble, Eady, A. E. Trott, and Phillips, who were passengers by the Cuzco, which left yesterday, received a great send-off. The rest of the team join the vessel at Adelaide,

Adelaiok, March 14. Giffen has been interviewed. He thought the team gieatly improved by the alterations. He lias quito recovered from his sciatica.
