A BOY DROWNED AT FREEMAN'S BAY.
YKSTE2DAT, about nine o'clock, two littl« boys, Louis Black (aged eight) and David Roach (aged nine) went for a hatha in tin harbour just off the reclamation wall iq Freeman's Eay. Black gob out of his depth, and was drowned before aid could be obtained. Roach raised an alarm and » man named Jeremiah Flynn went out in 3 dingy and recovered the body, which was still floating, but life was extinct. The body was taken to the residence of deceased's father, Mr. Geo. R. Black, of Ireland-street, to await an inquest. 'Dr. Philson will hold an inquest to-day, ifc jj understood, at the Rob Roy Hotel. The drowning of Black is the second case of « lad losing his life by drowning in Freeman's Bay.
