*. . LODGE ST. ANDREW, No. 8, N.Z.C. The regular monthly meeting of Lodge St. Andrew, No. 8, N.Z.C, was held last evening at the Freemasons' Hall, PrincesThere was a fair attendance of members and visitors, and the W.M. Brother T. Thomas presided. The lodge business consisted of the initiation of one candidate, and the passing of a brother from the E.A, to the F.C. degree. The ceremonies were most impressively performed by the W.M., wish the assistance of some of the P.M.'s present. The next business was the nomination of officers for the ensuing term, and the following brethren having been duly nominated, and there being no opposition, are now the officers-elect: — W.M., Brother John Guthrie; S.W., Brother D. H. Ross; J.W., Brother G. M. Reid; secretary, Brother W. H. Cooper, P.M. ; treasurer, Brother Thomas Ellison, P.M. ; S.D., Brother J. H. Duncan; J. 1)., Brother J. D. Webster; 1.G., Brother J. M. Scott; S.S., Brother D. Hyauiason ; J.S., C. Edwards; 8.8., Brother N. McCulsky; tylor, Brother Captain Tonge.
