THE DOMAIN.
TO THE EDITOR. _ ' Sir, —Verily we are nothing if we are not sentimental. But what sentiment there can be in calling a place " Domain " puzzles me. Simplv because the place has remained unnamed for the last 40 years, therefore it ought to remain so. Well, I hope that
" New Zealander," who in his falutin style asks " that you will raise your voice againsb the incipient vandalism which threatens to rob New Zealand of one of its principal charms," will be ridiculed and disregarded, as he ought to be, and that this people's park will have a name attached it that shall give honour to some deserving person, be it Noakes, Stokes, or Giles, or even Onslow or Grey.—lam, &c, Anti-Bosh.
