TAX ON MEDICAL MEN.
[BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Dunedin, Wednesday. The Medical Society drafted a Bill recently with the view principally of dealing with medical quacks and suppressing them. The Bill was sent to the Government for approval. This has been given, but to the astonishment of the Society clauses have been introduced providing for each registered medical practitioner paying an annual fee of two guineas to the revenue.
