NEW YORK ENVELOPED BUSINESS PARALYSED. ALL TRAFFIC STOPPED. [press association]. New York, March 12. Unequalled snowstorms were expo rienced in the vicinity of this city today. The city has been frozen into a state of inactivity. Street and railroad traffic has been stopped, and telegraph lines broken. Business is completely blocked— people being afraid to venture out.
