PLEDGE OF FRIENDSHIP. [press association.] Berlin, March 13. The sympathy shown by Austria on the occasion of the Emperor William's death has evoked a warm pledge of friendship from Prince Bismarck. Berlin, March 13. Prince Bismarck has addressed a letter to Count Kalnoky, the Austrian Minister for Foreign Affairs, expressing the thanks of the Germans for the sympathy of Austria, and stating that the friendship between the two nations was indissoluble. Count Kalnoky has forwarded a cordial reply to Prince Bismarck's letter.
