SHARES SUBSCRIBED TWOFOLD.

A MEETING was held to-night to allot shares Jn the company, which has been formed for Jfche purpose of taking up and working one /thousand acres, the property of Mr. J. B. Smith. The shares were allotted, and it is tiow the company's intention to erect Machinery and to proceed with the work of treating the deposit at once. A very keen feeling exists as to the importance of the discovery. The shares were subscribed twofold.
