A PARTNERSHIP DISPUTE.
» [BY TELEGRAPHPRESS ASSOCIATION.] Christchckch, Tuesday. The Supreme Court has been occupied for two days with the case Talbot v, McOlatchie, who were formerly partners as stevedores at Lyttelton. The plaintiff bought out defendant for £4SOO, giving £3800 cash and 12 months' bill for £1070 for the balance and interest. He now sought to have the dissolution of partnership annulled and the money returned, alleging that the defendant had fraudulently concealed the fact that the agent for Shaw, Savill, and Albion Co. had told him that tho company were about to withdraw their business, the proSts of which were about £800 per year, from the firm. The evidence was of a very conflicting nature, and at the conclusion of the case an arrangement was come to between the parties by which the dissolution stands good, but the defendant returns to the plaintiff the promissory note and pays £300 coats,
