LARGE EXPORTS OF TINNED MEATS.
[by telegbaph.—press association.] Wellington, Thursday. In consequence of the demand which has arisen in England for tinned meats both the Gear Company and the Wellington Meat Preserving Company are making arrangements for large shipments of their manufactures. Every inch of space ou board the Rirautaka, whioh can be devoted to cargo of this kind, will be taken advantage of.
