SERIOUS ACCIDENTS.
[BT TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Thames, Friday. A miner named Wilson, while pigeon shooting at Rotokohu, fell down a cliff and broke four ribs. He is progressing favourably.
A serious accident occurred to William Turner, a young man employed at the new battery near the Crown mine, Karangahake. tie was helping to jack a log. when it fell upon him. He sustained extensive contusions on the chest and back, aud a bad concusaioD if not fracture of the base of the skull. His recovery is doubtful.
