THE DUTY ON BINDER TWINE.

[By TELEG2APH. —PRKSS ASSOCIATION, f OA MAP.n, Monday. At a meeting of the Farmers' Club held on Saturday afternoon, the following resolution wa3 carried unanimously: — "That this meeting protest against the imposition of the duty on binder twine, and that the members for the district be communicated with and asked to take steps to have the same removed forthwith." Chrjstcitdrch, Monday. A largely attended meeting of farmers and others, held at the Corn Exchange on Saturday afternoon, decided to petition Parliament against the duty on reaper and binder twine.
