Darwin—Mr. R. McDonald Scott received a telegram yesterday of which the following is a. copy : " Struck another leader at 159 feet deep ; can see a little gold in it."

Darwin.—A leader 10 inches wide was cut in the well-hole 150 feet from the surface. It is well mineralised and shows gold. It dips :i,bout 1 in 5, and as the reef dips about 3 5n 6 they should junction about 30 foctupwiiirds. Kokahui Hill.—Colours of gold have beea seen in the No. 9 reef, Belfast drive.
