[by telegraph, united press association.] Wellington, Thursday. The following Volunteer appointments have been made :—Christchurch Yeomanry Cavalry Volunteers : W. Wilkin, to be JLlcutcnanfc; Edward Wangh Millett, to be Sub-Lieutenant; John Stanley Bruce, to be Sub-Lieutenant, Masterton Rifle Volunteers ; Edward Arthur Sanders Wyllie, to ba Lieutenant; Donald Donald, to be SubLieutenant. Additional Assessors under the Property Assessment Act appears in the Qazelte. The services of the Hamilton two troops (Waikato Cavalry) .and Southland Hussar Corps have been accepted. The resignation of Wm. Percy Balland Adams, of the Nelson Rifles, has been accepted.
