December G.—Arrived : Oreti and Wellington, from the North ; Jaue Douglis, from Kaikoura and Lyttelton ; Opawa, ship, from London, via Nelson ; Hannah Broomrield, from Hokiangi; Penguin, from the South. The ArathusU, ship, from London, with immigrants, 90 days out, arrived off the Heads this morning. Sailed : Tararua, s.s., for Sydney, via the East Coast; Taiaroa, for Taranaki and the Manukau, with the outward San Francisco mail ; Hawea, for the South ; Oreli, for Wanganui. with Chariui's circus. Cleared out : Sophia K. Luhrs and Edwin Bassett, barques.for Newcastle. WE3TPORT. December 6.—The steamer Kennedy went iishoro on the North Spit. Sho ivas got off safely to-day. LYTTLETON. December 6.—Arrived : Mary King, scbooner, from Picton; Penguin, s.s., from Port Chalmers ; Hurunui, ship, from London. Sailed : Penguin, s.s., for Auckland, via Port ChalTh'e N.Z.S. Co.'s ship, Hurunia, Captain Barclay, from London, was signalled ibis morning, and arrived in the harbour at 10 a.m., in tow of the 5.3. Penguin. She left London ou August 16, passed the Isle of Wight on August 19, and Prawle Point ou August 20, so she has been 107 days from that place. She brings :i large number of saloon, second, and third cliss passengers, all well. The health officer and officials went off to the ship at 11 o'clock, and cleared her. BLUFF. December C.—Arrived : Rotomahana, from Dunedin; Stella, from Purpepar Point ; Sarah and slary, from Greymouth. Sailed: Kotomabana, for Melbourne ; Stella, for Dunedin.
