It is understood that the hon. Mr. Verdon has been instructed to arrange several matters with the Peninsular and Oriental >team Navigation Company, and in all probability a fortnightly mail via Suez. The Elizabeth, from the Mauritius, brings 700,000 pounds of sugar, and dates to the 10th August. The Helen and Robert Passenger were loading for Sydney, and six others for Australian and Sew Zealaad ports. The Jessie Kelly, Agnes Banflold, and Fanny Nicholson had arrived from Sydney. Prices of sugars were a little easier.
