UAYWARD'S-FULLER'S PICTURES. There'will lie a matinee to-day at the Opera House, when the star drama "The Good-Bad Man" should prove popular with the children, The leading character, Douglas Fairbanks, is well established as a comedian and as Passin' Through, the eccentric outlaw, who robs the rich to give to the poor, he is well up to his usual standard. ANZAO DAY CONCERT.

The members of the 'Onmaru Returned Soldiers' Association have displayed a good deal of energy and shown considerable enterprise in their arrangements for the concert to be held in the Opera House on the evening of Anzac Day. The support of the rector, teaching staff and scholars of the Waitaki Boys' High School has been enlisted, which carries with it the assurance of the success,of the enterprise, In addition, the help of a number of well-known local and outside performers has been secured for the occasion, with the result that a programme of exceedingly high-class merit will be presented on Wednesday night. Amongst the many attractive features of Hie programme are item* by Mrs John Eraser, Miss Alma Lefcvre, Miss H. Cartwright and Miss A. Piper, Miss Louie Gray, Miss L, James, Mr B, A. de Lautour, Mr E. Blaclumnr, Mr W, Walters, and Mr J, Roxburgh, The instrumental items include a pianoforte duo by the Misses H Cartwright and A. Piper, and a trio by Messrs de Lautour, Fox, and Biirry, and selections by the Boys' High School orchestra.. Mr J. McLoaii will contribute some comic songs, and that "attractive young daiiseuse/Miss Flora.Shaw, will be seen in Scotch and Jrish'danccs, in which Piper R. Thompson will provide . the accompaniments, Mr W. James will be {he accompanist for the vocal items. The pianos for the concert are being supplied by Mr J. T. Oakdci and Begg and C 0... in addition to all the concert altiaclions p.itions will he fmtlier cateied foi by the meuibcjs of the Ladies' Hockey Club in the vending of sweets Contiibutions of the lattei are invited, and maj be left at the office of the Town Cleik up till noon on Wednesday. The whole of the pioceeds fiom the enteitaininent will be devoted to the funds of the Returned Soldicis' Association.
