CHRISTCHURCH GEAIN AND PRODUCE REPORTS. T (Per Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, April 20. There is practically nothing offering in the wheat market, and very few oats are coming iforward. The curtailment of the railway and steamer services is expected to interfere considerably with trade with the North Island. This is especially the case with potatoes, for which Auckland is the principal market for the South Island. The price for potatoes is still nominally £4 at country stations, at which purchases have ken made during the week, but merchants say that it is doubtful if further buying will be done to any extent) until th'o shipping service is resumed with Auckland. The grain and produce market generally is very quiet. DUNTROON SALE. The yarding of stock at Duntroon on Wednesday was exceptionally large, comprising principally breeding ewes, with a small percentage of fat sheep. Bidding was slow, but prices were well maintained,, and practically the whole yarding changed hands at late ruling rates.
