Junß 10. The sum of L3BO has b n en handed to the university for founding a woman's scholarship. The sum was raised by subscriptions, and handed over with a rt quest that when LOO a year is derived from it, a scholarship open to women be founded. Tbe body discovered near Lnvell's Flat has been identified as that of James Birr, a swagger. Two other swaesmen passing heard him moan and remained with him till he died. A post mortem fxamination ia fo be made, as a " rough on-rats" label was found on his person.
