Kitching, Esq., to sell by auotion, at his Clarendon Stud Farm (29 miles from Dunedin on the Main South line of Railway), on FRIDAY, 18th APRIL, 1879, at 12 o'clockHerd of Pure Hereford Cattle, consistof Cows and Heifers by the celet>rat«d Balls Lord Fumun and Duke of Connaught ; and a three-year-old Bull Duke of Kent, dam Heifer 93. 50 Pure-bred Clydesdale Mares, Colt*, and Fillies, got by Ivanhoe and Sir Colin. 300 Pure-bred Merino Ram*, guaranteed to have been bred from the purest portion of the Stud Flock of the late W. A. Tolmie, Esq.

Mr Kitching having purchased the Clarendon Estate (near Waihola) specially for the purpose of breeding his pure stock, has determined to hold annual sales by auction, the first being held as above, thus giving the public an opportunity of obtaining a portion of the blood which has cost him so much time, trouble, and expense in bringing to perfection. The Stock is all in fine healthy condition, and every lot will be aold with a guaranteed pedigree. Intending purchasers wishing to inspect the Stock will be furnished with a free railway pass upon application to the Auctioneer.
