The Education Board have invited applications for posts in the District High School. There are 90 application! from all the colonies for the five posts. For the head-mastership, at a salary of L5OO per annum, there were 29 applications, and the Board appointed Mr Fearnlej (of Mr A. Kentrall's Training Institute, Melbourne). The «econd- mastership, at
L3OO, ii given to Mr Churl* Steadftmn (Matter of the Borough School, Williamstown, Victoria). The third luutonhip was gained by a local man. . -
