Personal Mrs. Mate Srhoj Jnr, and Eunice, accompanied by Mrs. S. Bilcich, are travelling to Riverhead and Auckland this week. People will be sorry to hear that Mr. J. Stanisich Jnr. has been in the Kaitaia Hospital for an operation. Mr. Peter Yerkovich, accompanied by his daughter Doris, travelled by car to Auckland on Thursday morning. Mr. and Mrs. Mate Srhoj and sons of Big Flats, left on Tuesday by eai for a holiday to be spent in the South. Mr. and Mrs. F. Salle are the proud parents of a baby daughter. Local Resident’s Misadventure Mr. S. S. Stinson, who was admitted to the Kaitaia Hospital last weekend, is reported to be making satisfactory progress. The elderly man failed to return to his home on Friday night and on Saturday the police were informed and a large party instituted a search. He was found late in the afternoon by Mr. Evans who brought him down the beach in his buggy. He had apparently been immersed in the water several times and rescued at least tjice and when finally brought to safety was minus most of his clothing.
