WAIHARARA W.D.F.F.
On Wednesday the Women’s Division of Federated Farmers held their usual meeting in the Waiharara hall. Mrs. Cox read the creed and the minutes were read by the Secretary. There was a fair attendance and members were pleased to see Miss V. Yelavich there again. Mrs. M. Katavich won the lucky number and Mrs. A. A. Cox won the competition for something made from a flour bag. The competition for the next meeting is to be a d’oyley of some sort. Mrs. K. Rickett is to bring the present for the next lucky number. Hostesses for the afternoon were Mesdames Rickett and Cox and Miss Z. Bilcich. A social hour ended a pleasant afternoon.
