Mangonui Notes

PERSONAL

Lieut, and Mrs. J. N. Beasley who have been visiting Cable Bay for a fortnight returned South on Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Beaver have now taken up residence in Mangonui and are at the “Old Oak.” Mrs. Beasley returned to Cable Bay on Monday after three weeks in the South. Miss Verena Bright of Auckland, who spent the last couple of weeks with her parents, returned on Saturday morning. Mrs. C. W. Harris, who was admitted to hospital for an operation, has returned to her home for a few weeks prior to having it. Mr. and MrsV G. Bright, late proprietors of the Mangonui Hotel, left Mangonui on Wednesday for Auckland. N. Mr. Donaldson of AucKlphd has been a visitor to Mangonui for the past fortnight, and is a guest at the Mangonui Hotel.
