WELCOME HOME .DANCE
A bright and happy crowd gathered at the Oddfellows Hall to welcome home three of Broadwood’s boys who are home on. furlough, W.O. V. Holland, Tpr. J. Craig and Pte. A. Anderson, of the 2nd N.Z.E.F. A most pleasant evening was spent in dancing and after supper Mr. Jas. Mac Kenzie on behalf of the residents of Broadwood welcomed home the boys and said how pleased they were to have them amongst us again. Mr. Downey spoke on behalf of the Returned Services Association. Tpr. Craig and Pte. Anderson replied, and Mr. F. Holland, on behalf of his son W.O. Holland who unfortunately was unable to be present. “For they are Jolly Good Fellows” was then sung.
Each station in the Moscow subway system is done in a different architectural style and with different kinds of stone.
