MR E PANTHER INJURED. Accident At Saleyards
Mr E Panther met with a serious accident at the Kaitaia saleyards on Tuesday. While inspecting the cattle in the pens one of the rails gave way and Mr Panther fell forward into a pen of cattle. One of the horns of one of the animals caught Mr Panther on the left hand side of the chest and penetrating the ribs. The injured man was immediately removed to the Kaitaia Hospital and prior to going to press his condition was serious.
