ME. JOHNSON AT FAIRBORN.
T (From a Correspondent.) Mr. Johnson met the electors on November 18th. Mr. Stevens, J.P., was voted to the chair. Mr. Johnson spoke for an hour, delivering the same speech as when he spoke here some six weeks ago; but on Saturday evening tlie attendance was & little improved, Tho speaker was attentively listened to, but failed to gain the support of the meeting. At the conclusion of the address Mr. Johnson was asked if he would agree to some arrangement whereby only the stronger of the two Oppositionists should go to the poll against tha Government candi date, so ensuring the seat for Mr. Massey. In reply Mr. Johnson emphatically stated no retirement would come from his side. A vote of thanks to the candidate, and the same to the ohair, concluded the meeting,
