INTERCESSION

Almighty God, Lord arid Ruler of nations' people, and races , Who hast ordained that in orderly government alone are rooted alone our true welfare and the world enduring happiness, in this time of drifting of so many peoples into dark and uncharted seas, we beseech Thee to recover in the hearts of all nations and •to implant such a reverence for life, such awareness of the perils ■,that beset us all, such a readiness to listen, to choose and to obey such counsels as seem necessary and just, that the nations may come together upon such matters as are true and good, seeking enlightenment even from Thyself. Amen.
